Miracle

Pawan and Nishita were eagerly waiting for the 'Event of the Year'. In fact all their colleagues too were feeling so excited about the much awaited event. It was the yearly lottery that their company used to organise every year in accordance with the Christmas and New year celebrations. So excitement unlimited to all employees of the Company. The rule was very simple. Each employee had to purchase a ticket with their name written on top of the ticket and drop it in a box that would be opened on the mentioned date and time. The prize money was attractive and a part of it was contributed by the employees voluntarily. So it was.     

  The Event day arrived. All employees waiting with bated breath. Many plans might have been in their minds about what they could do with the prize money if they win. But there was one person among them who had a plan quite different from others. He was Dhruv a young man in his twenties who wanted to give away the prize money to the cleaner at the Office. The reason being she badly needed that money so that she could get her mother treated as she was Corona affected. The cleaner was so worried and helpless.

Finally the important program was to be unveiled. The box was opened and the name in the ticket called out ,Surprise, Surprise it was cleaner Gowri's name read out among loud clapping and cheers. Gowri was surprised with shock and she could just not believe as to what was happening. It was nothing but a miracle for her. She runs upto the podium to collect the money with tears in her eyes. She could now get her mother treated. Thanking everyone present there ,she collects the prize money and rushes home.

Dhruv feels so relieved and happy that he did not get the prize and it went to the right person. But, he was a bit surprised that none of them present there were disappointed nor bothered that they could not win the prize. Before leaving the room, he found the box lying on the counter and out of curiosity he picks up the next slip and he was surprised to see the same name Gowri on that slip too. Now, he was curious. He picks up another slip and lo behold Gowri again. When he checks all the slips and finds Gowri's name on all the slips, he realises This was indeed a great miracle.
