Yes, he was the same melancholic, withdrawn, and heartbroken young man, just out of the medical college. It was a case of both the patient and the doctor being equally doomed. One couldn't say as to who would last longer. But then surely you heard of miracles in the field of medicine. It was close to something of the kind. Both the patient and the doctor recovered swiftly. Only one didn't know as to who cured the other.
