Life Is A Purpose Onto Itself

We all give our lives its meaning because it helps us function in a productive manner.

We have been asked told and adviced to be a certain way because it is more meaningful to be so!....

By leading a meaningful life, you will be attaining the sense of respect and stability you crave.

This is a living reality but have you ever asked yourself if the meaning that you are giving to your life the one that you have been programmed to give or is it something that comes from your own exploration and discovery of being alive in this moment!....

In other words, while the meaning of being alive is a truly beautiful thing to explore have you already defined it based on your past and have thus stopped giving newer definitions to the meaning of life?.....

Meaning is something that keeps us healthy and striving but have you looked at the downside of having a fixed definition of meaning?.....

I am not a preacher against society but I would just like to discover the intricacies of being alive with you and today's topic of exploration is: meaning?....and shouldn't meaning be exposed to change and evolution as much as life itself?...is the boundary of society's definition of meaning creating the havoc arising out of separation?.

A terrorist after all seeks to Destroy the society because the society hasn't given him a sense of purpose anymore.

What gives one meaning does not make any real sense to another soul.

One might derive meaning through a sense of belonging to a larger community than the individual self, while somebody else might derive meaning by exploring what it means to have a self at all.

The definition of meaning is therefore not a universal one but rather a personal one.

But by trying to make it universal, have we destroyed the beauty of personal satisfaction?

My meaning may lay in sitting under a tree instead of a computer but why am I made to feel guilty because according to the external world this simple pleasure isn't a meaningful pursuit?

A child though never searches for meaning

Is it what makes it so full of bliss?

Because having no fixed definition of meaning, to the child, life is a purpose onto itself.

I am not going to tell you what the meaning of our life is .... because your breath already does that for you in its own unique way.

I just want to explore what it means to have a meaning?....Is it innate?...is it constructive or destructive?...does meaning make life more expansive or constricted?.....

Meaning....

If I love an individual, is it also because it gives my life a meaning?

So is all our actions derived from what would validate our sense of purpose.....

So meaning is beautiful but when the meaning becomes a boundary we become machines.

When a fixed definition of meaning becomes the code that we use to program our lives them we forget the sensual beauty of being a breathing human life and turn into machines who are created for a single purpose alone.

The difference between us and the machines lies in the fact that the machine is useless without its coded purpose but we are capable of creating our own purpose....even purposeless pleasures can be meaningful if we let it be.....

A narrowing down of the perspective because of the self imposed meaning is also capable of killing our hearts .

If I look at the ground and the meaning of the ground is only to hold me then I would never realise the power the ground has to also sustain roots and blood and creatures .

Question the meaning of life!.

That's my point here.

If you say that the meaning of life is in attaining joy, then ask yourself what is stopping you from being joyfull right now?... isn't your goal of having a meaning leaving you choked of breath?

Suppose saving the nation is what seems like the valid meaning of human lives, ask yourself if the external can ever be changed without the internal?.

If I save a tree today but I don't question my greed for having a bigger home then wouldn't I eventually compromise and destroy the tree?...

As in shouldn't meaning be derived from our internal sense rather than external?

If the meaning is external, it would clash with the meaning of other souls .

If I believe in attachment and you believe in detachment then we would always be at war with our perspective.

Instead if I let my belief guide me internally alone then I would never be at war with both the external world or the meanings of my fellow travellers.

Life is simple, Confucius says but we insist on making it complicated.

Are we doing this so that we derive meaning from the complications.

Is it so hard to still be a child full of wonder when the reality is that we are still utterly oblivious of life's purpose?.....

I have no conclusions to give you but I needed to voice out the truth that life is a purpose onto itself.

If it isn't, then we are forever doomed.

If it is, then we are already in heaven !....

Before signing of I wanna ask you,

What is the meaning of your life?

Have you asked yourself?

If not, then do so.

And if you come to the conclusion that there isn't a huge purpose then realise that's the beauty of it.

Just like music which has no destination, your being here has already given the universe a newer meaning!.
