The child inside me,

Hi there?

Can you recognise me yet?

Yes! It's me, standing next to you & mirroring the face of thousand scars of a pain-burden soul.

I know it's really awkward to identify because you still are the little sapling dreaming to grow up soon, are that beautiful soul who hasn't yet been touched with the heavy air of sorrow. Moreover, you are failed now after a thousand trials of scrutinizing me & laughing openly with your heart out. That crystal clear smile which a grown-up human being of your 15years later version is still searching like an insane prisoner. You must have been in kindergarten school & enjoying all the fun of being tender & innocent. You must have been getting pampered by your teachers & parents, getting a little bit scolded for your sweet mischievousness & having all your favourites dishes on weekend platters or, enjoying your trips on the lap of your mother & father. No worries, no sorrows, no pains & no loss in life!

After a lot of struggles, pain & streams of sorrow, I've flown & reached the age of twenty two where I'm scornfully missing the six or seven years old of you. I still ask God why the hell my 'you' version has been differentiated with my 'present' version! But no answers have been sent or somehow I never reached it. Time has introduced me to the golden time of a person's life & that is always 'you'.

Yes, childhood are the real gem & I miss being 'you'. All I want to say, cherish your life to the fullest from wherever you are now because the future has something horribly in store for you. And, if you can, learn to be strong a bit everyday to prepare yourself for the storms of the future. Have loads of blessings & love from me. Oh yes, your favourite 'Imli Candies' too! Take care.

 Yours forever,

The lost soul of future.
