Her Persuasion

 
"I know you didn't just guess it, tell me how did you get it," Saira asked in a pressing tone. Shibu chuckled again and said "An hour ago, you thought I was guessing; now you think I arrived at it. Make up your mind dear, I have nothing to say." "Shibu you've got to tell me," Saira said, clenching her teeth. "What! Threatening me? huh" said Shibu, dismissingly. Saira stopped walking and held him by his arm, pulling him to turn towards her. As they faced each other she said "okay! I'm sorry. Now tell me" "throwing a sorry at me? Not working." Shibu began taking forward steps as he spoke. Saira released her hand from his arm and walked along, saying "Just because I am asking. Look this is the last time I am asking you" "okay, good for you" saying this, Shibu walked faster. 

       "Hey, was I too rude to you or did I say something that hurt you," Saira asked softly as she walked faster to catch up with him. "No, no not at all" Shibu clenched her palm as they walked along. "I was just avoiding a cognitive conversation. Now I see some humility in your words. That gives me motivation. Try harder" he chuckled. Saira rolled her eyes, then looked down and said "I am really curious. Please tell me," saying this she looked up at him and blinked her eyes in a soft smile. "Okay, that's a request, a reason, and some sweetness. Good going, try harder" Shibu said. "I am not just curious, but I think I missed something important in my code. I actually need to know" she said thoughtfully. 

"That's some self-awareness. Try harder." Shibu said. "Okay, I think I have built the code on a specific specialization area. Now I realize that I need to respect other specializations and collaboration is the key. I can pay the price of pleading you to learn and grow." She said wide-eyed. "That's so candid and brilliant self-awareness! I now owe it to you to explain how I arrived at it. Shibu said delightfully. Saira too smiled. They reached the beverage bar by now. "Today's drink is on me," Shibu said. "Okay, one cool blue litchi" Saira said. Shibu placed the order for cool blue litchi for Saira, and a peach mist for himself. They took up a table with their beverages and took forward the conversation.
