Just Love

Shivani had started going to college and kept meeting Dev in secret. Their friends too were not aware that they were in a relationship.

Time passed and it was the time for final exams for Dev.

"Just a few more days and then we won't be able to meet," told Shivani sadly

"I am leaving the college not the city betu," he told lovingly

Shivani absolutely loved it when he referred to her as betu.

Although his friends Anish, Vikram, Natasha, and Tina had seen them hanging together, they didn't dare question Dev regarding his relationship status with Shivani.

"Nutty....have you seen that Dev is too inclined towards that first year Shivani," Tina asked her

"Hmmm..I did but who will question him" she told

"Aren't you jealous?" she asked

"Jealous...why should I" she questioned

"I know that since the first year you have secretly admired Dev..its high time you told him about your feelings" Tina coaxed her

"Well, I am not sure. I don't want to lose his friendship too that's why I am afraid to take this step" she confided

"But try at least. We have been friends for three years now and the college shall also end soon. Atleast let him know" she suggested

Natasha was in two minds. She wanted to be in Dev's life desperately but didn't want to lose his friendship too.

Finally, it was the farewell day for the third-year students.

The first-year students had organized it.

Dev looked dashing in the lemon yellow pathan suit as the dress code was traditional.

Natasha took great pains to drape herself in a royal blue saree with a sleeveless blouse for the occasion.

She knew that Dev liked sarees.

"You look gorgeous Nutty" he exclaimed as soon as he saw her

She felt so happy receiving this compliment from him.

She went to hug him when she noticed that he moved and went to greet Shivani.

The first year students were dressed in traditional salwar kameez.

She saw that Shivani had colour co ordinated her patiala suit with Dev's lemon yellow pathan suit. She flew in a rage but she controlled her anger.

"You look sweet Shivani" she went and told her

"You look gorgeous too ma'am' she complimented

"Do you mind clicking our pic together" saying this she gave her phone to her and went and hugged Dev

Dev was a bit startled by this behaviour and Shivani too didn't like it.

Dev sensed her discomfort and politely told her

"Hey Nutty....easy yaar......my dress iron would be damaged" saying this he pushed her away and just clicked a pic with her standing by her side

Tina had seen this from a distance and she knew that Natasha was unhappy with all this.

She thought to confront Dev and tell him.
