Humanity - A History

This was a wide room with metallic walls and a huge Throne in the middle. A man was seated on the Throne. He had a bald head with a pale blue color of the skin and black eyes. His eyes contained various emotions of Sorrow, Guilt and Exhaustion.

“I Hope I succeed, it is the last and only hope my children have left.”

The man murmured and pressed a button. A click was heard in the room and the Throne was covered with a cube, various huge tubes were connected to it.

Humanity, this word refers to the whole Human Race. Earth the only planet in our solar system to sustain life. The planet although could sustain life, it still followed the basic law of nature. The law of Survival of the fittest. Even though Humanity has dominated the world, they could not deny the fact the power of this law. The rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. My name is Percy Jackson. I am the owner of Jackson group- the worlds most powerful group that exists in the shadows and the story describes the reason of the existence of our race. Let the horrific story start.

The World is a place where the strong and the weak live together in harmony. The world consists of many powers who govern the people secretly. The UN which is considered as the alliance of the world countries is lead by the council which consists of the representative of these powers. Some may say it is wrong, some may say it follows the law of jungle and there is no harm in it. But what happens when these people are given the decision to select between Humanity and them self. Well It is obvious.

It all started when an energy burst was detected from the darkside of the moon. The UN and Jackson’s group launched a joint investigation. As my group was the major partner in this investigation, we launched various probes and rovers in the darkside secretly by the facade created in the name of new space technology tests. The first mission was unsuccessful, but we got results from the second mission. The darkside of the moon. The part which was never revealed to us had a ancient structure which was totally unnatural and the odd thing about it was that it was in the shape of a pyramid. Yes, a pyramid. So I guess this solves the mystery about who build the pyramids.

After this discovery the UN was shocked, so was I. A meeting of the highest echelon was conducted in secret to discuss further plans. As I was a part of their mission, my representative attended the meeting. Well its was obvious my existence is not known to the world. The Jackson’s group was supposed to be owned by a council of 10 members. The meeting concluded with the final decision of a manned mission to the darkside to be performed covertly. The Jackson group was also involved in this project, but apart from UN they also started their individual project code named Apocalypse.

Today is the day of the launch. I am super excited for this, but also in some part of my head there is an intense fear too. I watched as the ship left the atmosphere and moved towards the moon

Its been a week and today is the day when the ship reaches its destination - the darkside of the moon. I watch in anticipation as the rover landed on moon’s surface. There were traces of war and some highly advanced technology distributed throughout the site, although unusable and almost converted to ice blocks. As the pair proceeded inside the structure what I saw gave me creeps. The pyramid was hollow and there was only a single wide cabin inside. The inner part was full of white ash like substance. As the pair went inside there was a cuboid in the cabin, on it were attached various black colored metallic tubes. As the astronaut touched the cube, it shattered with a bang. Inside was a exosuit attached to tubes, the body inside was devoid of life. After searching for a few minutes, the pair found a small black colored chip. Due to time constraint the mission was terminated at this point and the team returned successfully.

The chip was preserved and after studying it was found that the chip was like a computer storage device and it contained a memory log. The memory log contained traces of an ancient civilization or so to say an alien race. The chip mentioned an important fact of what the our predecessors believed was the end. According to the chip, humans were not a race naturally evolved. They were the results of an incomplete experiment. Yes, an experiment, this experiment involved the introduction of an element called memory inheritor which we call Genes. The race which conducted the experiment was called the Deva Race.

The person who recorded this information was named Zero by the predecessor. He was the research head of the experiment and developed sympathy for us. The chip described the Deva race as the tyrant of the galaxy. They were a race adept at using cosmic energy accordingly. The pyramid was the base where the predecessors took the final stand. They fought against the Devas and forced them to retreat. Although they retreated, they left behind a virus. A deadly virus which will reverse the evloution of humanity. This virus was not released and was stolen by our predecessors and stored inside the base. The chip contained information to harness and utilize the cosmic energy. In short it was the key to the future.

After I went through the data. I found myself in a major dilemma, as the chip also mentioned that the Devas were only defeated for they will return again and this time it will be their full force.
