Hope

It was a sunny day. Rohan a 7 years old boy was playing with his 4 friends. They were playing in a park which was near a forest.

After playing for a long time, they decided to rest. There was a tree. They sat near it and soon they saw something weird. They saw that on the ground there is a deep hole. They go near it, and they saw the dead body of a man. They were afraid and ran steadily towards their home. While they were running they decided that they will tell their parents about that body.

Rohan said to his mom (manu)," mummy mummy I saw a dead body near the park." Mummy said," what? A dead body." Rohan," yes. I saw a dead body. In the park, there is a big hole. I and my friends saw that body there. Pls, come mom we are afraid."

All kids came again to that park with their parents. Parents were shocked to see the dead body, but the person who is shocked more than anyone was Rohan's mom. She started crying to see her husband (Raj) dead. An ambulance was called and the dead body was taken away. They put the body in the hospital. Rohan and his mom left alone with Raj's dead body. Manu was crying badly as if she doesn't want to live. Rohan had no idea why her mom was crying because for a reason she didn't tell him that raj was his father and why he was not living with them. And when she told Rohan in the hospital that the person who is dead was his father, Rohan was completely shocked. She said," Rohan, I am sorry for not telling you that you have your dad. Sorry for saying that your dad was no more. Sorry, beta sorry. Look he was your dad." After hearing the truth Rohan was and does not want to look at his father's dead body. Manu was forcing Rohan to look at his dad, Raj, and said," look beta he was your dad, look at him. You are watching him for the time. Give a last hug to your dad. Look at him you never played with him, he never bought you anything, he never takes you anywhere, he never scolded you, he never loved you. Look he is no more. Look at him and give him a last hug."Manu was behaving like a crazy woman. Her voice was coming out of the room.

After such a disturbing day for Manu and Rohan. They did all the rituals to make Raj's soul rest in peace.

8 years have passed and Rohan still wanted to know from her mother that why she always hiding such a big truth. He was really angry with Manu for a long time. Finally, Manu told him," that his father was a drug dealer. He smuggled drugs for 2 big businessmen, Shekhar Roy and Punit Gaikwad. When you are born, Raj separated from us because of our benefit. I tried to convince him to stop all these crimes, but he was at the stage from where there was no going back. We had a long argument on this and finally we decide to sign divorce papers." Rohan said," mom it might be possible that either Shekhar or Punit killed my dad." Manu," yes it might be but we cannot even take the help of police in this case because the police will never help the family of a drug dealer. We can't do anything." Manu said sadly.

Years have passed and Rohan and Manu still hoping for some help to get out from the darkness in their lives but, there was no help for Rohan and his mom.
