Chapter 6

You might have been Raju in your previous life” said Siddharth laughing. Jeeva looked up at Siddharth in utter shock. “cool buddy… I was just joking” said Siddharth tapping on his shoulders. “You and your silly thoughts,” said Jeeva shaking his head.

After all the pujas were over, everyone got into their car and were heading back to Manasa's house. While crossing Raju's house Jeeva kept looking at it until it was out of his sight.

After they all reached home, they relaxed for some time and got ready for their journey back to Bangalore. Siddharth's family (his parents and brother) went in Siddharth's car, whereas Jeeva, Ridhi, Manasa and Siddharth decided to go in Jeeva's car. “Manasa, by the time we reach home it's going to be a late-night, so you stay in our place and go back to your PG tomorrow,” said Ridhi and Manasa agreed.

All four were happily chatting and laughing... Jeeva stopped the car suddenly. “what happened Jeeva?” Questioned all three unanimously. “Nothing, Siddhu….why don't you drive for some time…” asked Jeeva? Signalling to him that they were close to the hotel. “No Jeeva you drive, I will drive later” replied Siddharth and whispered to him to try again. Jeeva took a deep breath and started the car again. To his surprise, the car started and he didn’t hear the voice. Jeeva felt happy and relaxed throughout the drive back home. For a while, Siddharth drove the car. The whole family had dinner together. Finally, they reached Bangalore and dropped Siddharth home.

Jeeva, Ridhi and Manasa also reached Jeeva and Ridhi's place... Jeeva slept in his room, Ridhi and Manasa slept in the guest room. Ridhi and Manasa were talking for a while before they slept, but Jeeva went to sleep the minute he hit the bed. In the middle of the night Jeeva suddenly jolted off the bed.. he looked around for a second and he sat down at the corner of his bed sweating profusely. he was scared, he switched on the light and took his phone to check the time, it was 3 am. He took a sip of water from the bottle and turned off the light. He tried closing his eyes to sleep again, he was scared. Ridhi wasn't there beside him to calm him down so he tried to sleep with the light on, but Madhu and Raju's faces were flashing in front of his eyes repeatedly. After tossing and turning around the bed for some time he managed to sleep for an hour or two.

Jeeva slowly woke up.. squinting his eyes due to the bright light… rolled over to his mobile and unlocked it… it was 8:15 am. The first thing he did was to call Siddharth. “Good morning Jeeva,” said Siddharth brightly. Jeeva didn't bother to reply, “what are you doing?” he Questioned. ”I'm in your house sipping some sweet coffee” replied Siddharth laughing. “What?!?” Jeeva hangs up the call and walked to the living room he saw Siddharth, Manasa and Ridhi chatting away...” When did you come?” Questioned Jeeva “a few minutes ago, came to pick up fiancé” replied Siddharth looking at Manasa lovingly making her blush a little. “Oh cool, come with me” Jeeva dragged Siddharth into his room... “What's up, man? you look tense early in the morning..” asked Siddharth. “last night I had a dream, it was Madhu …she was sobbing…calling me Raju, begging me to come to save her and that she’s been waiting for me all this while.." said Jeeva his heart thumping and staring up at Siddharth with bloodshot eyes…
