When Harish narrowed his eyes and flexed his muscles both visibly gulped, “Nothing brother, just your bride, Priyanka wants to talk to you. That’s all. We are her friends. She is waiting near the pump room.”

Harish looked at them skeptically but agreed with an imperceptible nod and followed them. Ever since he saw Priyanka’s photo he wanted to meet her but the village customs dictated them not to meet before the wedding and this visit came as a big surprise for him. 

He liked a peaceful and quiet life without any spontaneity, unlike his father who was prideful and loved all the attention and regards the villagers had for him. As he stepped into the shade of trees next to the pump room, Priyanka looked up and their gazes locked.
