Finally, Married! Part 6

After a lot of brainstorming, it was decided that they would spy on the entire family for two weeks to know about their daily activities and possibly discover any misgivings to be used for their benefit. 

Shyam Sunder and Ganesh (potter’s son) took the onus of most of the spying, while Subha (fruit seller’s daughter) would chip in when required.

Since Priyanka was the bride, it was generally agreed she would stay put and later meet them for updates. Their spying went unhindered from villagers on both sides but nothing substantial came up. They were a reputable family and her father-in-law’s word carried weightage even at the local governance centers. 

Her mother-in-law was a timid lady with no say in anything except being a good housekeeper. Harish was a responsible lad with a good head on his shoulders and very astute with money. He was not known to voice his opinions openly and never spoke against his father. He had many women admirers though he ignored them. 

Other than the fact they openly defecated nothing out of the ordinary was found. This however did not deter Priyanka, she pressured her friends to keep looking for anything unusual.
