Black Sheep

Dear Diary,

I started the day by checking my emails, Facebook page and other social networks. China is creating Corona and India is providing medicine Hydroxychloroquine to the world community. India should or India will have to provide this medicine. I am happy that India has something to offer to America. We use to offer a variety of spices to the world earlier. We are having Zoom meetings and online classes for our students. But some one is not happy with these initiatives, he/she by creating a fake ID on Monday posted on the school facebook page. I read all the comments posted on face book page and then searched a little about this anonymous person. He doesn't have any friends, no profile picture and no identity. He tried to put somebody's name. I came to know who is the person. Shared all these comments to the teacher's WhatsApp page, the person who is the culprit knows that they are caught red handed.

Due to the present world crisis, it may take some time to expose him/her but the best part is I have recognized them. I conducted an online class and I was happy to see the response of the students where they want to help their friends. There are people who are having jealousy and at the same time, there are many who work silently with a lot of positive attitudes. I am very happy to recall two more incidents of the day. One teacher did voice recording when her zoom class was unsuccessful and another teacher made video recording to clarify doubts of their students. We are responding according to the situation. In the anonymous facebook, compliant is that we are not allowed to go outside the class but when Madam was in charge they had a lot of freedom. What time of freedom? Very difficult to define. Free to stay outside bunking the classes, bullying the junior students, they should have the freedom to remain unsupervised? But I don't think this is the case. There is always a possibility for a farmer to happy paddy without rice! You have got freedom as no classes now for you. We are having a maximum 3 to 4 periods for classes IX and above.

I am getting many calls, queries to start online classes for junior classes too. I am happy to see teachers making due progress in both conduction online classes and also in professional development. I received many certificate for the Teachers who contributed significantly as Leaders in field of Science and Environment. I understand what are you missing? Online classes can't replace our schools. Some students are missing their food sharing, others are worried about their control as Monitor, Prefect or student council members role. These CCTV cameras are also a hindrance in Aazadi. I strongly believe that it is a question of contribution and not control. World outside is very rude and cruel. You will have to manage your time, organize yourself and arrange bread and butter too. In one of my previous school, one staff who was managing accounts and stationary appears to be very honest, but apparently, this was not the case.

One day he was caught red-handed and then he submitted a detailed apology and was fined a huge amount. The Chairman was a reputed businessmen so he didn't remove him from the services and transferred him to the city office. I am looking for this black sheep, let us see how long you survive? I feel Corona should die soon. Black sheep will come out believing that it is sunset!
