Dear Diary,

I stared at my wedding photograph on the wall which was full of happy faces. Someone has truly said that time flies.

There was a time when the wedding day was agreed to be six months later and everybody thought it's too far. As the date came closer, everybody started panicking with all the work left. Then suddenly in the last two weeks of the big day, corona cases rose exponentially and lockdown discussion started happening in the news. Everyone started calling each other to check if they saw the news. As expected, lockdown got announced for the weekend and then got extended to the wedding week as well. Few family members panicked and few remained calm as it was a predictable thing. Guests got reduced, pending work got suspended and everything just came to halt. Nobody anticipated six months before that all the planning would be ruined in the last two weeks.

Wedding day got preponed by two days to have a lesser impact on wedding plans but, unfortunately, family members started falling sick. The excitement of the wedding started turning into disappointments to such an extent that everybody wished to have this ceremony safely and quickly before the government suspends wedding gatherings. Finally, the wedding happened and I got all my clicks with a happy face and tried to cheer everyone up to enjoy the once in a lifetime day. Those happy faces got captured in the frame and now I am seeing it on the wall. It’s been two months now and all the memories of wedding plans are still fresh. I can never be less thankful to God for making my wedding ceremony safe for everyone amid this dangerous corona time. It will be remembered for life.
