Being Human

Ss no I don't mean southern star or any other thing but social science the subject I taught in schools and social services my passion. This has been a matter of interest to me even as a young child, of course, I did not know how to go about it nor had any means to satiate this urge. But whenever and wherever I had a chance I used to contribute in whatever way I could like sharing stationery, food toys etc. This used to give me immense satisfaction.

Even as a teenager I used to go to a neighborhood blind school to teach English to little kids over there oh what a joy it used to give me cause I was of some assistance to these gifted souls. As a school teacher, I could motivate many of my students to donate useful unused extra things lying with them in orphanages, old age homes, etc. Even today I get feedback about the same from my old students. For me this is a great achievement. so obviously my children will do the same. I finally got a fantastic opportunity to pursue this passion for the past few years.

As a secretary of the ladies club I got the golden chance to satisfy the needs of many deserving needy. we had the funds and the thrust to do the same. Myself and my team as per heirarchy would take up this job annually and cater to the needs of old people left in old-age homes, orphans in orphanages, blind students in blind schools and likewise. The whole experience cannot be explained in words. We need to thank God for this opportunity, even though technically it is on a small scale.

The feeling of being of some assistance is itself a reward that cannot be quantified. So I wish that this effort continues and brings some amount of satisfaction to both the doers and the done. As the adage goes little drops of water make an ocean , small efforts may make a large difference
