Awesome Flowers

I wake up in the morning and the first thing that comes to my mind is plants and flowers.... A cool and fresh breeze makes summer morning pleasant!! And the starting of the day even more fresh and pleasant with that red and light pink and white roses at the backyard garden and red hibiscus and many other small white, pink, violet colours of " vinca rosea " ( "sadabahar" or called 'Barmasi"), Clitoria ternatea, bluebelivine ( Gokarn, shankhpushpi ) blossom for all the twelve months without any break. These are soothing to my eyes and give happiness. I like to spend my time brushing my teeth and taking a round to see the progress of plants, buds and flowers.

In general if we talk about flowers then How many colours and shades and types of iflowers are there is just endless list. White fragrant jasmin that too traditional ( Mogara) with multiple petals and single petals , star shaped kind of jasmin , also delicate flowers that are used to make hair garland that ladies wear on hair and hair bun , make them look more beautiful.

And Roses in so many colours , white, pink, yellow, red, Orange, purple, and so many...Champak is also fragrant flower comes in varieties of colours like light and dark yellow, light and dark red and white colour with yellow shade in center. Yellow Marigold, sunflower ( which turn according to the sun 's direction...truly a wonder!!) , some flowers are seasonal they require certain climate so you can see those flowers blooming in that particular season that too in plenty of quantity. some flower plants including roses come with thorns which may be their natural protector. certain plants are climbing plants , like money plants. They grow climbing on other plants support or even individually. even jasmine flowers grow on such climbing plants. Some use these plants to decorate the entrance gate of house.

And night blooming queen , a name itself tells about it's special quality. One plant of it even in house make neighborhood houses and surrounding full of it's smell that comes with the flowing wind and gives heavenly happiness to smelling senses. It's aroma is beyond words you have to just feel it to know it.

Some flowers are not very famous, it has colours but hardly are recognised still fill the nature with its own beauty. Like varieties of small and tiny colourful flowers seen in valleys and on mountains and in forests. Brown with white shades, pink , green, blue , violet , yellow, levender , Orange , light and dark colours with some shades that makes them even more beautiful.

Some flowers are strong and can hold them on to the plants for days together whereas some flowers like Delonix ragia (" gulmohar" ) a very delicate summer blooming flowers fall from trees which are planted on road sides and in bigger public gardens, make a beautiful carpet on roads and in big gardens...and you get to see those red-orange- saffron- yellow-purple carpets which makes summer a less intolerable.

Some flowers grow in summer, some in monsoon and winter and also some varieties of flowers are seen grown in snow and that must be so awesome to watch !!!! Some flowers are of bigger size like Daisy, Dahlia, hibiscus, sunflower, Marigold and many more. Some flowers grow in Lake and water like some types of Lilly and Lotus. Certain flowers are there since ancient times so there are some religious stories behind them and their names. It is not possible to talk about all flowers because they are infinite in numbers and in variety.

Also there are some flowers which are from other country lands but are now seen here also in our country , like tulips , Orchids , Irises, cherry blossom and many more.....all very beautiful flower varieties.

How many ever varities of flowers we see the plants on which they grow also are different. Size of plant, leaves shape and colour of leaves all are different for each and every flower. some leave colours is also look like flowers , some leaves comes in more than one or two shades of colours in it or dots of other shade of color makes the leaves also beautiful. some plants are indoor plants and can grow inside house. It is all great job and magic of NATURE !! when we think about this Wonder of nature it just mesmerise us.

Some fragrant night-blooming jasmine flowers ( like Parijat and Bakuli ) fall on the ground in the early morning. And it is said that even the neighbour gets the share of flowers because when they fall they spread on the ground and goes up to neighbours house.

And to understand and cherish the beauty of flowers you need to have soft heart and plucking flowers also require delicate handling. And it is an age-old truth that women are always fond of flowers and gardens. Because they have a soft heart. But not like that men or women, kids or aged mostly all like flowers because of their beauty, colours, fragrance, so enjoy the beauty of flowers and let them allow to bring a smile on your face. It is the greatest gift God and Nature have given us. So nurture your plants and flowers and give some portion of your time for such beautiful cause. Happy Gardening to all of us !!!!
