Anniversary.

                      There were three friends who were joined at the hip in their school life. Unfortunately, they got segregated for making their career in their life. They had chosen the different wings of their education after schooling. They used to meet occasionally on few occasions before getting jobs during their higher educational life. When they were in job at different places , in different departments and in different states, they couldn’t meet with each other till their retirement unfortunately as they couldn’t be in touch with each other due to lack of fast ,durable communication means like today. Coincidentally all of them settled in the same city which wasn’t known to none of them. On some occasion just after retirement, two of them by chance met in mall. Though they met after very long gap still they recognized each other at the drop of a hat as they were out of site, but not out of the mind. No sooner did they met with each other in the mall, they had hugged each other in the mall ignoring spectators. It was the just beginning of their second inning of their old friendship. Both of them were making effort to find out their third friend. They thought for a while that he might have forgotten them as long absences ,soon forgotten. They had still hope that they could find him soon as where there is will , there is a way. 

           One of the friends went to his native place for his personal work at his elder brother. He got his brother’s friend at his home coincidently as he had some work with his elder brother.. While talking with each other, informally he just inquired about his third missing friend. He told him innocently that he couldn’t meet with him for last a few decades. His brother’s friend told him that his friend was also settled in the same city like them. He provided him his mobile number which was the last straw in their effort to find out their missing loving friend. Since they got their beloved friend’s mobile number, both of them made contact with him. In this way all the segregated school friends met again. It was real miracle for them as they could realize their impossible seen dream after retirement. Then they would meet with each other frequently thereafter. They had dream of having a gathering of all classmates in their school. They were successful in arranging a grand function in their school. All of them were available in the formed what’s group.

                       After grand success of their gathering. They decided to continue their sound relation among all friends in the nearby circle. The three city friends would attend together the various functions at their native place as well as other friends. They didn’t wanted to get separated again till their last breath. They had decided to celebrate the anniversary of gathering at least with local friends of their native place.

                Some of the friends had gathered for celebrating first anniversary at their school as local friends already took the permission from the school authority. They got allotted their old classroom. After reaching in the school on scheduled date, they gathered in the same classroom. Fortunately, there was the birthday of two friends on that day. All the friends decided to honor their writer friend who had written book and participated in various poet conferences. He had received awards and certificates from various literature agencies. It was a multi purpose gathering for them as they wanted to kill two birds with a single stone. 

                  They invited the principal as chief guest for the function who was requested to occupy the chair. The writer and other two friends whose birthday had to be celebrated were asked to sit with principal on the stage. The principal was honored by giving him a bouquet and shawl. He was requested to honor their writer friend .He honored him with great coat and epergne. He also gave the bouquet to other classmates giving them best wishes for their birthday. The poet had already written a special poem for his old school friends for celebrating the first gathering anniversary. He was requested to read that poem for them. The poem reflected all emotions and facts about the friends which were in their heart. It was the heart touching poem. The principal addressed the gathering . He appreciated the content in poem in his speech. He said that everybody from you thought like him, but some of them only could express them through words. That words made your friend uncommon. One of our friends was asked for giving vote of thanks. He thanked the principal for providing the facilities for gathering and for giving his valuable time. He also greeted the friends for active participation to make the anniversary of gathering a big success.
