Mukherjee got up after watching a Mohun Bagan and East Bengal match. He was happy that his team had won. Weary and tired, he went to the kitchen to serve himself some Cha and Biscoot. He decided that once refreshed, he will walk down towards Gariahat where he will gorge on some nice singada and rosogullas.

He was also planning to watch the FIFA world cup match that was scheduled late night on television. He decided to pack some Radha Ballabhi and Alur Dom for the night on his way back alongwith some mishti doi.

Mukherjee was all set for the match now. He switched the television on late at night. Then he helped himself with the yummy food he had brought home.

Suddenly, he was surprised to see that the match was between Germany and India. The Germans made aggressive attack and fired at the Indian goal post one after the other, but the goal keeper was diving and making all the saves. Mukherjee looked in disbelief, but the goal keeper who was diving like a wicket keeper looked familiar, and on closer look, it was none other than Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The match continued with the Germans trying to score but to no avail.

The, suddenly he saw the ball passed to a spectacled Indian player who moved the ball meticulously like a game of chess and strategically passed through the Germans with ease to score a goal. Mukherjee looked in disbelief again and on closer look, that man was Vishwanathan Anand.

India was leading the game at half time, when suddenly the Indian midfielders started passing the ball in geometric precision and the Germans once again had no answer. They were none other than Pankaj Advani and Aditya Mehta who scored a goal each.

This was followed by an amazing tackle of the German players by two defenders who decided to have their way and open up the offense to score more goals. Mukherjee looked closer and found these were Pardeep Narwal and Rahul Chaudhari.

India was already now leading 7–0 and before the hooter could go in 11 seconds, Mukherjee spotted an Indian player dashing with the ball in a super sprint towards the German goal and score a goal .... and it was none other than Amiya Mallick.

Mukherjee was puzzled .... how come cricket, chess, snooker, kabaddi players and 100mts sprinter played together for India and thrashed a German side in a FIFA world cup.

Suddenly he began to feel terribly hungry and turned to wake up. It was 8pm and he realized he had dozed off and all of this was a dream. And a dream it was !!!!!
