“The high commander would like to see you ma’am” Rebecca stood up elegantly but not like a young duchess, but rather like a strong warrior. She held on to her long razor-sharp sword and walked towards the commander’s cabin. She knocked the door. “Come in” a stern voice commanded. Rebecca took a deep breath and walked in. She placed her right fist on her heart and kneeled, “You summoned be sir?” “Yes. I’d like to talk to you about your progress so far. Have a seat lass.” The commander instructed. Rebecca stood up and took a seat while the commander gazed out of the huge glass window. “Do you see our planet Rebecca? It is joyous and a welcoming place. But it has no lack of invaders. In the past eight years, you have made your way up to be the face of our military, of our force. Sharp as an eagle, you not only camouflage yourself in our rival’s camp, but you also manage to outwit them even before they get to know about it.” Rebecca smiled as the commander continued. “The Board and I have decided to promote to a valiant knight considering your progress and dedication for our planet. As a part of your next assignment, we’d want you to leave for X5LLM39 immediately.” The commander finished, still looking out of the window. “When do I leave?” Rebecca asked. “Mr. Engar will prepare your spaceship in fifteen minutes. Buckle up for the rough ride.”

“You will reach X5LLM39 in exactly five minutes forty-three seconds and thirty-four nano seconds. We have loaded the spaceship with all the instruments and weapons you had requested for and have even installed the homing device in your multi-purpose wrist watch that will connect you with the spaceship in thirty seconds.” Mr. Engar completed as he adjusted his round spectacles. “Well done Mr. Engar. I really don’t know how to thank you. You are the best Elf on this job.”

Rebecca praised. “Why that’s sweet of you but don’t you spare those Trojans there. Nasty creatures they are, I tell you!” Engar warned. “I know Mr. Engar that X5LLM39 is the headquarters of Trojans. But I’ll only be away for a spar (one spar is as good as five earth years), and I’m sure no trouble will arise at V95.” Rebecca assured. “V95 is always insecure in your absence. You have been the most courageous person that too a…” Engar hesitated to say ‘woman’ for he wasn’t sure how she’d react and tried the patch it up with ‘a young teenager’. “You were going to say a woman, weren’t you?” Rebecca looked at the elf. “Uh…” he hesitated. “Don’t worry, I’ve learned to take that word as a matter of pride than a drawback.”

She smiled. “All ready to go Rebecca?” the high commander spoke as his hundred legs approached the knight. (The high commander was an evolved centipede with a human top and a hundred legs to follow with) “All packed and ready to leave.” Rebecca replied. “In your absence we have doubled up all our security and our weapon range for a spar. We believe that no evil will rise in your absence but in case if anything comes up, you will be alarmed…” “by my wrist watch. Engar told me.” Rebecca completed. She saluted the commander and walked in the spaceship. She put on her seatbelt and set the spaceship at full thrust. “Rebecca, remember that as soon as your spaceship will enter the X5LLM39’s atmosphere it will become transparent”. She nodded her head and took off for X5LLM39 at full thrust and reached there thirty seconds prior to the estimated time. She unbuckled her seat belt at lifted her wrist watch towards her.

She whispered, “Destination reached safe and sound. Initiating disguise.” She tapped the watch thrice and whispered again, “Computer, initiate Trojan disguise.” In a matter of few seconds, she was transformed into a blue verminous creature and with fangs as long as a sabre’s, ears longer than an elf’s and thin slender webbed feet. “Initiate disguise completed” the computer responded.

She pulled out another case and put her micro-fibre plastic lenses. “Computer, activate lenses.” Rebecca could a blue rim surrounding her vision. She looked at the spaceship’s control panel. The lenses displayed a detailed description and instruction manual on how to use the control panel. “Lenses activated and operational.” The computer responded. Okay, let’s do this. She walked out of the space ship and looked around as she studied all the plants and people around her. She had disguised herself as the supreme court advisor of the planet. It was a safe post for the supreme court advisor of the planet not only brought justice the Trojans but also was involved in several secret plans of the Boards to invade V95.

“Computer, locate Trojan headquarters.” She commanded. “Trojan headquarters is located mild due crest (West for people on Earth) from your current location. Five hundred meters straight ahead and a right would leave you with the headquarters on your left.” Rebecca grabbed her bag and put forward her next command, “Computer, activate anti-gravity thrust.” Rebecca’s bag had transformed into a mini surfing board that floated in the air by the anti-gravity field it exerted. She stepped on it head off for the headquarters.

In a matter of few seconds, she reached her destination and had enabled communication with her planet, V95. “Your target is the go in the supreme’s office and get hold of a file named ‘Tumultus in absconditis’ which means ‘The Invasion Secrets’ in Latin.” Rebecca received a message from her planet. She quietly and elegantly slipped into the headquarters without drawing anyone’s attention. She checked the time. 1400. It’s a break period. Perfect! She made her way into the supreme’s office and started searching through the files. Tumultus, tumultus, tumultus she muttered under her breathe. She moved from shelf to shelf and finally found it under a stack of fat books. She picked it up and turned around to leave but was astonished to see the supreme behind her ready to stab her.

As quick as lightening she drew her sword and defended herself. “You think we wouldn’t have figured it that you were coming?” The supreme smirked and threw her to the floor. The file fell from her grip and the papers within scattered everywhere. Rebecca clutched on to her sword and leaped into the air to attack him. “Rebecca! You better be outta bed now! If I find you hugging that lame sword again, then I’ll be your next nightmare!” a woman scolded. “Mom?” Rebecca said perplexed. Everything froze around her and she was still in the air. Suddenly, everything fell. She could feel herself falling in a dark pit. She landed on something soft. She opened her eyes and found herself at home on her bed. “Rebecca! Your adventure dreams won’t buy you extra marks for your science exam today! Hurry up already.” Her mom yelled as she sat yawning on her bed.
