Aarav was staring at his mobile screen which has a picture of her who was his friend but now he is her most dreadful enemy as he had proposed her.

Suddenly his phone buzzed, waking him from the tornado of thoughts swirling around him. It was past 10 p.m. in the night.

“Yeah, Anil. I am walking towards your apartment. I just came here to this unknown place to see her for the last time. But I think I have freaked her out.” Aarav gasped, as his forehead furrowed in tension.

“Wait, I will call you later.” Aarav cut the call as he was distracted by something. A girl was struggling to stand in the street as a guy was constantly taunting her.

His hands itched to punch him but something struck the chord of bulb in his brain. With stiffened steps, he walked hastily.

“Oye, hello. What are you looking at? Her face or body? She is not interested in you. But I can do a lot. Come on just look at my bushy legs, doesn't that ignite a burning desire in your chest? And my hands. Ah so hot, look the sweat drops dripping down..” Aarav told with a cocky grin as he put his arms across the guy's shoulder.

“Get off me, pervert.” The guy gave a weird look and strolled off from there.

“What? Don't give me the hero admiration look.” Aarav said as the girl chuckled, glaring at him.

“Mm…thanks for that but you have tucked a flower on your right ear.” She said pointing towards him.

“Ugh oh that..” Stifling the embarrassment in his eyes, Aarav pulled off the flower.

“Might be for someone special. I can guess. By the way my name is Ananya.” She introduced herself.

“I am Aarav. Came here to see…” A gasp took over his words, his eyes cast a painful glance away from her.

“Mm so waiting for bus?” She asked.

“Ugh…yeah..” Aarav couldn't figure out why he lied. Maybe he didn't want to make her feel that he is waiting for her to leave safely so that no other guy would trouble her!

A car came to a screeching halt in front of them. It was uber.

“By the way, this isn't a bus stop. So if you want I can share my ride with you or..” Ananya offered him as she was about to leave.

“No thanks. Actually, my friend lives nearby.”

“Okay then and once again thanks a lot.”

Aarav waved at her as he saw the car moving away.

“Hello, yes Nima. I have safely got into the car. I will reach my home within half hour.” Ananya was talking in phone with her friend Nima.

“Thank God.” Nima let out a sigh of relief. “After you left the party, that guy came again.”

“Who? The guy who proposed you, earlier? You didn't even show his photo.” Ananya complained.

“Oh, sorry dear. You saw how I was busy in the party.”

“So what happened?” Curiosity dripped down from Ananya's words.

“Nothing. I yelled at him for coming again as I had already rejected him.”

“Wait, what does he look like? What was he wearing? Send a pic of him.”

A shudder passed through the length of her spine as it was the guy at bus stop! Oh my! Such a sweet guy he is! Why would have she rejected him? Well, we can't impose our feelings on someone, right? Life isn't DDLJ, dear!

She gasped, clenching her fists, as a silhouette of him, dappled her memories, making them elated in the ecstasy of meeting a sweet stranger!
