A young boy around 6 years old was walking with a heavy bag on his shoulders. He had not eaten for 2 days. He had to walk another 500 km to reach home. He was with his parents who were carrying heavy suitcases on their heads. They stopped for a water break when they met a journalist who asked them why they were walking. The boy's father replied "We have not received any assistance from anyone after the Indian government announced the lockdown one month back. For one month we waited for some assistance but now we have no money or food to survive. If we reach home we will at least be able to live. If we stay here we will die from hunger."

The young boy, when asked about his dream in life, said that his dream is "to reach home". As the journalist reported their story of a long walk back home, he showed us an image of hundreds of workers walking on the same road. The journalist questioned the viewers "Why can't there be some facility for these migrant workers to take them home in this never-ending lockdown due to COVID-19" Till we get the answer, these migrants will continue with their long walk back home.
