A Letter To Best Friend

It had been almost three months since Ishan's girlfriend had broken up with him. He was going through tough times, he was trying hard to move on but found himself caged in her thoughts. He looked depressed with the shaggy beard on his pale face. His best friend Anuj tried a lot to help him to move on but he remained lost in his gloomy world and ignored talking to him as well. Anuj was getting worried about his situation, he had tried everything he could do to cheer him up but none of them worked. So he thought to write him a letter and wrote one from his heart.

Dear best friend,

You are the worst best friend anyone could ever get. You have changed and you have changed a lot and I miss my old friend. The friend, with whom I used to talk for hours without being bored. The friend, who used to share all his secrets with me. That friend, who used to inspire me to dream big. The friend who used to nudge me a lot but now you are hurting me a lot. Nowadays you are talking less contrary to the day when I used to tell you to shut your mouth. It seems that you have built your own world and I'm afraid that day by day this world is killing you from inside. Everything was going fine, you were on the right track of following your dream but sadly now you have lost your track. I know you are a passionate lover and you will always be. You never missed a chance of talking about the positives of your lover with me. I don't know, what happened between you two? Why she broke up? But one thing I know is that sometimes in life things don't go in a way that we want but that doesn't mean that our life ends there. Just because things don't turn our way doesn't mean that we will stop dreaming or stop following our dreams. Of course, there is a void left inside your heart but please don't let the void rule and ruin your life. Talk to me, feel free to let your emotions flow. Then only you will be able to come out from the cage of depression. Together we have solved a number of problems of our lives and I'm sure we will sail through this problem also. But at least talk to me!

Tears rolled down from Ishan's eyes, he immediately called Anuj and cried his heart out. And from that moment things started turning better from him.
