Youngest Mother !
Youngest Mother !
My first job at the age of sixteen
Was as a babysitter at a well off home,
The father of the house,
Used to work all day,
Hardly giving any time to his family,
Yet he says "I am working for my family".
The mother of the house,
Used to stay at home all day,
Kitty partying and telly shopping,
Yet she says "I left the job for my kids".
The two kids of the family,
Like two snow bunnies,
Were afraid of me first,
But, soon they started loving me,
We spent days, eating and playing,
We spent nights, reading stories,
They used to call me "ma"
They would share everything with me,
Would hug me, cherish me,
I felt them like my own kids too
I loved them too.
Now they have grown up,
I have left the job,
Still, when I go meet them they still hug me,
But now,
They look even more broken,
Even more scared,
Even more alone,
They see more and less of their parents
The father still says,
"I work for my family"
The mother still says
"I left the job for my kids"
The kids still say
"We miss you ma"
