I don’t know when it happened

I cannot pin point the moment

When instead of saying You and I

I started saying We.

You and I talked for sometime

Till We started talking everyday

You and I laughed on each other’s jokes

Till We knew what would make each other laugh

You and I met each other a few times

Till We couldn’t wait to spend more time with each other

You and I knew each others’ families

Till they became Our Family.

You and I didn’t fall head over heels in love

Until We did.

You and I didn’t plan a future with each other

Until We couldn’t picture anyone else there.

You and I didn’t just look at each other

And knew that this was it

You and I took our time

To know that we could be We.

Now We

Laugh, Love, Dance

Together.
