Yesterday,Once more

Yesterday, once more I had strange visions in my dreams

And, I know not, what my unconscious mind has in its regime

The repository of unconscious desires-stop playing tricks on me;

Come to my conscious mind to inform what I really ought to see

I can come to terms with you through free association

But, at least, acquaint me with your motives and notions

You are trying hard to conceal my painful memories,

Which are actually the result of my friends' rumour stories.

If I promise you that I won't cry

Will my tears for those memories ever dry?

Even then, I want to thank you for hiding my scars

After all, some things are not meant to shine like stars

My poems are the only ways of expressing my feelings 

Except which, I am incapable of any kind of public dealings.

This poem is dedicated to all those who love to doubt me;

Before passing comments, try to understand my deepest emotions that you all are unable to see

Please make your understanding level sober

For, intelligent people never judge a book by its cover.
