Darkness

Yes, I love darkness;

 The shriek of a tortured soul

Who is puzzled while fulfilling her goal;

Is heard only in darkness

Yes, I love darkness;

The tears of someone who seems to be bold

While suffering from the insecurities she herself has mold;

Are shed only in darkness 

Yes, I love darkness;

The stories of someone who seems to be smart

For, the world is unaware of her shattered heart;

Are uttered only in darkness

Yes, I love darkness;

The actions of someone who is forced to believe in logic and notions

While suppressing her creative mind full of imaginations;

Are witnessed only in darkness

People may prefer light over darkness 

But, I am immensely fond of darkness 

For, it's a strange embodiment where I find perfect solace.
