Take me back to my childhood days

For, I desperately want to enjoy my carefree ways

Once again, I wish to visit my school chapel;

Which is still standing under the shade of oak and maple

Back then, I was too casual

I wasn't even half as usual

Once again, I wish to get drenched in summer rains

As it was my stupid way of cooling my brain

Back then, the syllabus was few, studies were fun;

I enjoyed playing with my friends under the sun

Once again, I wish to start from the first

I want to repeat all my mischiefs, at times which were must

I am ready to endure everything with patience;

If someone ever promises to take me back to that world of innocence.
