Furious to see dissipation of my love and care

Derision of my bounty

Modernity on the way

Humanity going astray

Hullabaloo of hotels

Clubs, malls and motels

Late night bars

Long chains of cars

Wailing at the wastage

Too much to wear, too much to tear

Frantic chase to scrape few more coins

Apathy to see hunger on the road

With so much indifference how can one roam

'I have enough to feed

But not an inch for your greed'

Regard for home and hearth

Respect for silence and kindness

Brood and muse

You still have enough to lose

Let me breathe and give you time

Or shall I shake you more and confine??
