When Winter Speaks

When Winter Speaks

1 min
403

Winter is more than a season,

It’s a chill that wraps the heart,

With fog that hides the light,

We gather close, avoiding sight.

Voices hushed, thoughts lie still,

Loneliness lingers, a shadow that will.

As winter fades and summer nears,

Hearts remain frozen, held by fears.

In youth, the path was laid with care,

Yet hesitation blooms in open air.

Now we toil in jobs that drain the heart,

Creativity stifled, dreams fall apart.

“Eat less,” they said, joy feels slight,

Silence was golden, lost in the night.

Each day demands something new,

But how to create when spirits feel blue?

Yet in the quiet, a longing grows,

To break the silence, to let it flow.

To share our stories, to find our voice,

In the depths of winter, we seek a choice.

To rise above the doubts and fears,

And embrace the warmth that draws us near.

Now a chill settles, a shell around the soul,

Wishing for winter to finally feel whole.

Hoping the inner winter will rise and unite,

To speak without fear, and reclaim the light.
