When My Body Met My Soul..

One day I thought of discovering me

I found living corpse which was spirit free

I pondered how could I bring my soul and body together..

Body felt like iron and soul was as light as feather ...

Binding them both was indeed a herculean task 

I felt empty just like drained vacant flask..

I bowed and appealed to my soul to come back ...

Ruthless soul denied being part of this hollow sack... 

I almost gave up this idea of chasing the spirit 

Suddenly I saw solid shadow underneath my feet...

Shadow said " Give me thy ego and I will be all yours ". 

Finally I succumbed to find intact body of ours.......
