King Beggar

Every day we saw one beggar walking down the lane..

Sometimes happy sometimes melancholy he appeared to be insane..

Robust body, curly hairs with a glow on his face...

He was ignorant and lived heedless for abuse and praise...

Draped in dirty white robe and twiggy sword in hand...

He behaved as if he was king of that slummy land...

Sitting on the boulder he got happiness of throne...

While passers ridiculed him by calling him a drone.

He had loyal tail wagers as his army...

his kingdom was prosperous and never faced anarchy...

On the day he got food, it was his royal feast..

He gave little out of it to the birds as treat...

Worldly pleasures and comfort were never his ambition.

Journey meant everything to him and not the destination...

Oh! King beggar you are unaware that you are the richest man on the land...

You have got key to happiness which is enclosed in your palm....
