When Life Looses All Meaning

Standing in the broad daylight

I feel the sun burning upon my skin

Giving a cooling sensation

To my ever-burning heart.

The pain of being a failure

Has been stabbing me since 

My mother died of a lack of medication

My father due to suicide.

This pain is irrepressible

For this shattered soul

As it is from hatred and frustration

I bore into myself since then.

Today I stand before you

O mighty Lord

Without anything left for me 

I desire death and yet cannot die.

What do you seek more

By keeping me alive?

Living a life worse than death

Is this the only way to atone my inability?

Then I do care no more,

For my life to go on

As it is nothing but a meaningless ride…

A ride to the downhill of my sanity...
