Whats Behind Purdah?

Why are you playing hide and seek with me?

Why do you cover, with the white purdah,

Are you hiding your emotions, while you scan a petite like me?

A stupid becomes an artist mesmerized with your beauty.

I keep staring at you while you take no notice.

What’s in your mind as you distant yourself?

I love you in your best, and your worst with no conditions applied.

Age separates us,

Appearance separates us,

Distance separates us,

Language separates us but

My love doesn't accept reality.

You visiting me day and night confirms, your love for me.

You confirmed the same with a vibe, on a special occasion on the beach.

Love doesn’t have a boundary,

I never considered it until I acquired a fondness for literature.

Though your presence in my life itself a special occasion.

You may not belong to me;

We may not unite;

Poems written for you, may not be heard by you.

But my love and poems always remain for you.

Be blessed with your beauty, for all the poets around.

While others see to conquer you as a celestial object,

I love you forever.

We get deceived by emotions with our perceptions.

The mind makes sense than heart at times,

Purity always can't sustain substance, but cognizance does.
