WHAT'S BEYOND
WHAT'S BEYOND
I sometimes wonder
We live in a world full of blunders.
Just think about it
We're only a small planet going around a ball of heat.
I ask you what's beyond the starry skies we see from earth
You say it's the dark space where planet roam around
With rings around their girth.
I ask what's beyond that?
You say it's the solar system with stars and asteroids
All fighting together in combat.
I still ain't satisfied and want to know more
You say it then has galaxies going round a swirling slide with stars galore
But I see darkness and ask for a clear picture
You get engrossed and start giving a lecture
But I get lost in uncovering what's beyond everything
Does light ever shine after the black space sinks?
Does the universe know where it is going?
Or is it out of control and keeps on flowing?
But I know something others will know never
Everything has an end and nothing lasts forever
So someday I'll catch up with the universe
And find whether it's growth is a blessing or a curse.
