We all grew up

We all grew up

We don't LIVE in our HOMES anymore

But VISIT it when time favours us to the core

From getting bored & wanting just to go

To Longing for it in our highs and lows

The day we grew out our parents's laps

The day we siblings ceased to yap

Was the day we all fell in the "adulting" trap

We cried at school's first day

Now saw our families tearing up at a distant bay

New city, a fresh start

Our Bodies came along but we left our heart

We see those beautiful faces daily

But sometimes the eyes get rainy

How quickly we all grew up

Those hugs now became "hey wassup?"
