Wanderlust And Epiphanies
Wanderlust And Epiphanies
Some where along our busy lives,
Our hectic schedules,
Days bustling with energy,
Some place, along our long journey,
We forgot what we are here for.
Some time during these hectic years,
Ones I've grown up in,
To become the woman I am today,
I forgot what that
Little starry eyed girl always said,
That she'd touch the stars when she grows up,
That she'd quench the thirst of the thirsty,
Feed the hungry, pacify the ill.
Somewhere along the rigmarole of life,
Making beautiful mistakes,
Stumbling along uncharted waters,
Sailing notorious seas,
We forgot,
That all this effort's for a simple reason,
To become a better version
Of our former selves,
And that we are all wanderers,
Adventurers out on a simple quest,
Of finding ourselves.
