Walking Through A Forest
Walking Through A Forest
Walking through a forest,
Away from the cacophony of city life,
I could listen to my heart loud and clear,
Who wanted a time out,
From the polluted air and traffic sound.
Walking through the woods,
Away from the daily commotion,
I could hear the rustling sound of the fallen dried leaves of autumn,
Who were pleading to save the jungles,
For the future of our generation.
For, if the trees would continue to be chopped and minced,
There would definitely be no pure air to breathe.
Walking through the forest,
Deep, I went for introspection,
Where I realized, there is no time for excuses anymore.
It's we youngsters, who need to take the reign in our hand.
Plant more and more trees and amend.
