Voice For The Voiceless!

Lend your voice as you are able to,

To the ones who can't speak for themselves as you do......

It can be a stray dog searching around for some food, 

Or a stray mother looking for a safer place for her pups,

A sick animal on the road or a bird with a broken wing,

Or a little kitten stuck on the roof,

An ox which can't carry on with the plough,

A donkey which has a heavy load on its back,

Or a pet dog who is lost and looking scared to move about,

When the space is just not enough for the wild animals in the zoo,

Caretakers lazing around when it is their time to feed them right,

Some kids tease the monkeys n others unnecessarily, too much,

An old man finding it difficult to carry his heavy bag,

A lady with a small child struggling to stand in the moving bus,

When school children get punished for what was not their fault,

The college-goers framed just because of a naughty few,

The ragpicker who is honest and didn't really steal,

The maid is too sincere and being poor is not her fault,

The homeless lot sleeping out in the cold with nothing warm,

Or the children in the orphanage are not taken good care of,

The poor and the underprivileged are all not thugs and thieves,

Be the voice of the neglected, deprived and needy lot in our society.

Being silent and not speaking for them when required is a big crime,

Raise your voice and speak for them and do your bit when you can!
