Vista from a Moving Train
Vista from a Moving Train
As far as the eye can see the carpet is green
Earth dressed in her best so she can preen.
Far away in the clouds someone watching the drama
Earth looks verdant view from the top, panorama.
River gently following, in no rush to mate with her lover, the sea
The morning rush has begun people moving around, pacy
Morning dew on the leaf gleaming like a gem
A hymn escapes from my lips, thinking of Him
Bare Chested man sitting with his morning newspaper
His wife in the kitchen, breakfast she needs to prepare.
Amid the cloud I see a splash golden hue
Thoughts like clouds drift among friends who and who
Different colors of the buildings come to the view as the train goes by
Signs of a big city approaching nearby
Fitness seekers in their brisk walk left right
Words emerge in the mind intake of all this sight
God's own country goes the tagline
Temple, mosques and churches dot the landscape and it’s all a good sign
Appam and hoppers makes me drool, the country cuisine
Nature and people on a balance, how else, it’s all fine.
