Visiting Dreamland

Visiting Dreamland

One day I was thinking about a black hole in the space

That in some distance I reckoned stood an alien

And something fell upon it, and that was my gaze

I looked and looked and looked at it

But in a few seconds, it multiplied into six

I gave it some thought, but it left me in a fix

Suddenly, the lights went off

The wind was hoarse

The rain was coarse

Cutting like a knife

And lightning was about to take one’s life

I hopped off of my bed

Walking like a person who is half-dead

Went on to the front, entered a dark room

And the first thing I saw was the witch’s

broom?!

The broom took me around the universe

But it was so fierce

That it left me in tears

I chose to visit planet Mars

And spent a few hours

But the only thing I found was red soil

Which made my blood boil

But Oooh!! after that, I heard my mum cry

And I opened an eye

The clock had struck nine

I was late for school and would spend my allowance paying the fine

But one thing is certain

Though that was a dream

It filled my heart with gleam

Before it shattered, I let out a joyful scream!
