Utopian Fantasy

Smiles spread over every face, 

Making the universe smile too. 

Brotherhood heralded every mortal, 

Making the world a happy place. 

Colour of skin remained forgotten, 

As though, the eyes went clour blind. 

Every word uttered was laced

With love, affection and respect. 

I danced through such a crowd, 

Feeling all included. 

The spirit of oneness uplifted

My mood, and energized me too. 

Boom! A blast shook me awake, 

To my dismay, 'twas just a dream. 

The war of hatred had begun, 

Making my thoughts a Utopian Fantasy.
