Unusual Friends
Unusual Friends
There once lived a cat
Who skidded on a mat
And sat on a rat
To survey his land
And called for his bat
To find the bad lad
The cat’s friend a doggy
Climbed on a scooty
To look for her daddy
To play in the toy factory.
The cat caught the lad
Lurking near his bath
He called the lad’s dad
And sent him straight back
To his mummy
Who gave his tummy
A well deserved whack
Meantime the doggy
Found her daddy
Stuck in a trolley
In the marke
t for doggies
After yanking him out
She entered the toy factory
And came out
Looking like a shaggy
The mystery of her shagginess
Is now revealed
She skidded into a vat
Filled with gooey slime
She looked like something hideous
Which made someone faint Oh my!
The workers ran helter skelter
The sight was not pretty
She looked in the mirror
And saw the horror
She fainted on the spot
Onto a bundle
Of gift wrapping paper
And came out like a shiny Christmas gift.
