Unmet Desire
Unmet Desire
Longing for a desire isn't disastrous,
Though having no desire.
It takes nothing to desire,
Except for keen hopes
That is never going to be met.
Groping in the darkness for light
Is spontaneous for me
Albeit without a key.
Flashing a blunt sword to kill
A mosquito needs skill.
Capturing a flying moth is
A huge task for me.
Though I caught it
It died like a trifle wish
Having mediocrity.
The start was of enthusiasm
Full of optimism.
At last, I met the unmet desire
That could be tied with wire.
Then everything met to fire
Turning to ashes of wishes.
Absurdity companion of life
Is looking for life.
Optimism, possessed by man
Is looking for Pran.
Desirous life is meeting
Last breathing ;
Looking for suffices
Remaining merely ashes!
