Tragedy Of Mother Earth

Tragedy Of Mother Earth

In a race to survive,

we forgot to take care.

In the name of development,

we cut the trees that freshen air.

Cried the Mother Earth,

seeing her land in despair.

The damage had been down,

which was hard to repair

Lying down witnessing the tragedy,

her eyes were moist and teary.

Barren land pleaded the skies,

O' clouds, please let the water slide.

Devastated Mother Earth shed her tears,

Her river of tear nourished land.

Slowly the barren land vanished,

Trees now had started to flourish.
