Torn Yet Unyielding

Torn Yet Unyielding

In the quiet corners of my mind,

Your name still whispers, soft, yet kind.

Though blocked, erased, and left behind,

I cannot free myself from the bind.

Your eyes, they held a thousand dreams,

We spoke of life, and of its streams.

But love, it seems, is not what it seems,

A fleeting shadow in the sun’s harsh beams.

The promises we made, they fade away,

Like whispered winds that do not stay.

Yet still, within me, night and day,

Your voice echoes, leading me astray.

I gave you all, with heart so pure,

But love can’t thrive on lies unsure.

And yet, my love for you endures,

A heartbroken soul, longing for the cure.

In silence, I’ll stand, waiting for the day,

When love, once lost, will find its way.

For though you block me, turn away,

My love for you will never stray.

And so, I walk this lonesome path,

A love that’s torn, but not erased.

For in my heart, despite the wrath,

I’ll love you still—though out of place.
