Visions of Tranquility and Tender Care
Visions of Tranquility and Tender Care
I dream of realms where peace doth reign,
Where hearts in love and kindness train.
A world unmarked by grief or strife,
Where sorrow ne'er shall mar the life.
I dream a realm without disdain,
Where hatred sleeps and wars refrain.
Such visions dance within my soul,
A dream where joy doth make me whole.
An unforgettable vision bright—
I had a dream in deepest night.
A man appeared, my heart did know,
He bore me tender care below.
In winter's chill, when loss did call,
He took me close and eased the thrall.
This man, I called him angel true,
Whose love and warmth in darkness grew.
With gentle hand, he led me on,
To castles vast, where light had shone.
And there, with grace, stood Lal Ded fair,
Whose love and comfort filled the air.
She led me to a bed of rest,
Where peace embraced my troubled chest.
And in her arms, so soft and deep,
I found the solace for my sleep.
I dreamt of people, calm and kind,
Their gentle hearts in peace aligned.
To haters, I did speak and say:
"Look here, behold, this righteous way!"
I woke to see, in waking light,
The man and woman, clear in sight:
My uncle, aunt—whose love did guard,
Their kindness standing firm and hard.
They sheltered me from cruel disdain,
Their love, a balm to ease all pain.
And in that dream, both near and far,
I found in them my guiding star.
