Time Travel

Buildings of huge heights,

Touching the limits of skies,

Lifeless beings,

Meaningless lives,

Times have changed a lot,

Since its predecessor times.

Times would further change,

So would lives,

That has had been destined in the cycle of time.

Since Nanak Shah Fakir, it has been more than five centuries time,

How materialism, greed, technological heights had destroyed lives, 

In the pit of darkness humanity somehow still manages to survive.

In these suffocating hard times, the only hope, the only light,

Again the incarnation of God near the apocalypse times,

Lord Vishnu’s Kalki Avatar, predicted in much earlier times,

Approaching quite gradually, irrespective of what we do in our lives,

Indifferent to pain, indifferent to humanity,

Such would be the final incarnation of the Lord,

God Kalki, the ruthlessly true prototype of his times.

In the past five hundred and fifty years,

The shift in the world market has not remained gradual,

The people, the lifestyle, 

Everything has changed, bringing,

New social light, new social life,

Man is no more like Nanak’s times. 

Times are flying passed rapidly in front of the sight.

Vishnu is on his rescue way,

Again the setting needs to be more or less the same,

Monarchy, sages, ashrams, gurukuls would again rise,

Reemerge, but this time not to unite,

But distinct, patterns of life.
