Let bygones be bygones for the past is history.

Past comes back to you like a haunting mystery

Like an imp digging out old skeletons making mischief and misery 

Of memories and memoirs of your life's Treasury.

The more we get into the past,

The greater is the suffering 

The deeper we go behind, that much more is the bothering 

Good, ugly and bad, all faces of the past 

Keep surfacing now and then to make us bask 

In our past glory or rue in self pity 

Now is the time to remember the good' things in life

And discard the ugly and learn from the bad experiences rife 

It is always nice, to better be late than never to strive 

For opportunities are around the corner for you, always to strike 

With dreams in your eyes, look for yonder' lands

And wings on your mind fly away to far lands 

'Down yonder green valleys where hopes and dreams lie 

Waiting for you to realize your potential highs 

With hope in your heart and a determined mind 

Keep going strong to achieve your goals of a healthy kind 

Yesterday is past tomorrow is future, never mind 

Today is your present to live and enjoy, not to look behind.
