THOSE YEARS AND THESE YEARS
THOSE YEARS AND THESE YEARS
When we were just kids, I remember, do you remember
Those years when we were nurtured to be what we are
When they disciplined us to improve our morals
In those years, when we feared our elders
A sign of respect where no person sided office
When we had extended families
Those years when we valued brotherhood and sisterhood
Since is a generation change, the effect is a worse cause
What they call modernity others call advancement
Children disrespect their parents the effect of no shame
What was communally done is personally done
Individualism works better than society's unity
Idleness is stronger than job provisions
Disciplining a child wins you a court summon
Elders abused at the sight of the young
What happened to our cultures?
