There is a catastrophe we need to address

One that we cannot suppress

Our oceans are being polluted and harmed

It’s time for people to be alarmed

We need sewage to be treated well

Unnecessary nutrients in the ocean are like a bombshell

They lead to a decrease in oxygen levels

For aquatic life, they are devils

We need to find a solution

For industrial and agricultural pollution

To the marine life, these liquids are poisonous

They cause thermal pollution and are really hazardous

Prevent excess water runoff into the ocean

Because it transports fertilisers and pesticides which causes contamination

And letting animal and human waste into the ocean is a crime

Since it could create several dead zones in no time

Not to mention, the life cycles it could disrupt

While mining in the ocean for silver, gold, copper and zinc from every side
