Education is required to shape a nation

It is our world’s foundation

It contributes to the structure

Of our community’s fairer future

 

People will see the truth

When they are exposed to different people in their youth

They will be able to find

That stereotypes are just pre-defined

 

When people know more about our community

There will be an equal opportunity

No more stereotypes

Just acceptance of all types

 

People will know the laws

They will know each clause

This will stop exploitation

Or any kind of dictation

 

When people know what’s wrong and right

They will be able to stop all plight

Unfairness to the poor or weak

Will cease to exist even in tweets

 

As women embark on their journey to knowledge

Gender equality will be acknowledged

They will fight for their rights

With feminism, fairness will take flight

 

As more people gain education

They will offer new solutions

New ideas for justice will occur

Ones that are more effective and better

 

As our literacy rates soar

Our world will grow

Education will pave the way and lay the structure

To a more desirable and fairer future
